We are seeking a skilled & experienced Test Developer to ensure the quality and performance of our autonomous robot systems. You will play a critical role in designing and executing test frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, execute, and improve automated test frameworks and manual regression test suites.
  • Perform functional testing of wheel.me’s autonomous robot systems and platforms.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate closely with disciplines such as mechanics, electronics, and embedded software to ensure a strong focus on end-to-end product quality.
  • Actively participate in agile development ceremonies and quality reviews.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide regular reports on test results and quality metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and explore new testing methods, tools, and workflows to enhance testing capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on testing best practices and keep the team up-to-date with trends in the testing discipline.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and test pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in test development, including designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., Selenium, pytest, or similar).
  • Experience with functional testing of complex systems, ideally in robotics or embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Passion for robotics and innovation.
